Welcoming the New Balance 1906A, the latest offering to grace the impressive 1906 lineage that draws inspiration from The Protection Pack.

In terms of the 1906 family tree, the 1906R marked the latest arrival from the Boston-based footwear label. Landing back in 2022 as a fresh version of the core model, this update was exactly what the streets were after, propelling the model to popularity once again. Since then, we’ve seen a bunch of new takes on the original design, each of which have certainly not disappointed.

First off, there’s the 1906F, which swaps out the usual mesh and suede for an exterior of canvas and leather. Then there’s the 1906U, a ‘Utility’ version with a tough ripstop upper. And let’s not forget the 1906L, which reshapes the classic sneaker into a loafer hybrid – quite the transformation!
